Apollo Fabrication are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified General Clerk to join their team in Young NSW.
Position purpose:
To provide administrative support for the Employer. You will have various duties and responsibilities.
Ensure that all amounts due to be paid to the business are promptly and accurately invoiced according to contracted terms and conditions, and that debtors are followed up to ensure that they pay their accounts as contractually agreed.
Main tasks
Core objectives include:
- Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment
- Handling external and internal communication systems including phone and mail communications
- Completion of marketing activities within skill and training level
- Ensuring office stock levels are maintained at accepted levels
- Escalate queries to appropriate senior staff if unable to assist
- Enter new debtors in company records.
- Raise invoices as instructed by project managers and other managers
- Arrange for invoices to be authorized and sent.
- Follow up invoices for payment.
- Act to pursue non-payment if required.
- Maintain debtor records.
Other Duties
- Telephone/reception input as required
- Job specific filing, emailing and faxing
- Provide all necessary office support to the team
- Assist senior administrative staff as directed, to analyse, rectify & resubmit rejected invoices for the area as received from the client
- Attends meetings when requested
- Attends regular meetings as scheduled
- Prepares clear, professional reports for presentation & discussion at meetings, when requested

- Advertisements and for staff
- Social media management

Experience
- Relevant commercial or practical experience, or specific experience with certain computer programmes

Other
- Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified General Clerk
- Certified II or III in AQF certification or relevant
- Basic knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Minimum typing speed 45 wpm
Salary range is $65,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
