Automotive Electrician

CustomAir Group Pty Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experience Automotive Electrician to join their team in Somerton VIC.    

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Determine malfunction of electrical systems by visual inspection of vehicle/trucks and coordinate with workshop and client appropriate actions or repairs
- Repair or replace defective wiring on all automotive electrical circuits such as lighting, ignition systems, safety systems, instruments and air conditioning
- Installation of automotive electrical accessories such as lighting, radio equipment, GPS systems and electric braking systems
- The capability to utilize electronic testing equipment, wiring diagrams and specification listings to diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Completion of paperwork including job cards and appropriate filing of invoices for purchased parts or equipment
- Complies with the highest level of safety at workshop and site to avoid any type of accidents  

Skills & Abilities:   

- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role
- Ability to work in a team environment  

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
