About the Role 

United Homes Australia Pty Ltd is looking for a Construction Project Manager in a full-time position, salary range to be from $95,000 - $100,000 depending on experience plus superannuation. 

Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate and liaise with design, procurement, labour resources, and other stakeholders from project initiation to completion.
  • Work closely with building owners, property developers, contractors, architects, engineers, and technical professionals to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Assist town planners and architects in submitting plans to local authorities.
  • Organize regular meetings and consultations, maintaining detailed records of discussions and project progress.

Planning & Technical Oversight

  • Interpret and analyze project plans, drawings, and technical specifications with accuracy.
  • Manage project planning, organization, and direction across civil engineering and construction activities.
  • Oversee the allocation and utilization of human and physical resources, ensuring compliance with registration or licensing requirements.
  • Liaise with risk managers and compliance experts to guarantee adherence to building legislation, quality standards, safety protocols, and cost efficiency.

Inspections, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Coordinate and schedule building inspections with local authorities and relevant professionals.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements and building codes are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance across all construction stages.

Procurement & Resource Management

  • Manage contractor sourcing, procurement of construction materials, plant, and equipment delivery.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to maintain timely supply and cost-effective acquisition of resources.
  • Implement effective cost control measures to ensure projects run efficiently and within budget.

Documentation, Reporting & Tendering

  • Maintain thorough project records, ensuring accurate documentation of operations, site coordination, and work programs.
  • Prepare tender bids, proposals, and required project documentation.
  • Record and report on project progress at regular intervals, providing updates to stakeholders and management.

 Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Property, or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience managing construction projects in a project management capacity.
  • At least 2 years of experience overseeing large-scale construction projects in Australia, from initiation to completion.
  •  Minimum 2 years of practical experience using construction-related design and project management software and digital tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues swiftly, minimizing project delays.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective documentation and stakeholder engagement.
