Product Manager

Globant is an IT and software development company operating internationally and currently looking for a Product Manager (ICT Account Manager) to join its team in Sydney, NSW.

About the role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Guide the Retail & eCommerce life cycle capabilities using Agile methodology
- Work with various business stakeholders to ensure that IT investments are aligned to business strategy
- Work with business stakeholders, architecture, and engineering to perform and coordinate analysis on cross-functional business initiatives to identify potential solutions, break those solutions into epics and features along with roadmap for deployment
- Maintaining a prioritized portfolio and program backlog, including the prioritization of epics and features with all the business partners.
- Provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced colleagues
- Gather Market research, and industry trends to develop an industry-best product suite
- Partner with Tech Lead, QA, and engineers to continuously improve and maximize output of the delivery team.
- Effectively builds & prioritizes user stories for each iterative delivery – partnering with Tech, QA, and business SMEs to deliver each.
- Maintains outcome focus by adjusting product roadmap, release strategy, & scope priorities based on the realities of an agile environment

About you
A client-oriented leader and negotiator that communicates effectively and respectfully, able to prioritise and make effective use of time, passionate about IT.

You will also have:
- A degree in a related discipline · Solid understanding of Jira and Confluence
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Experience as primary point of contact for business questions about projects
- Experience with executing project governance including change control and issue/risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills as well as a positive attitude.
