Full Time Retail Manager (General)

SALARY $73,000 - $78,000 + SUPERANNUATION

Wild West Tattoos Pty Ltd is a professional tattoo and body piercing studio based in

Melbourne, Australia. We specialise in high-quality custom tattooing, body piercing, and

cosmetic tattoo services.

The Retail Manager is responsible for:

• Coordinate and oversee daily front-of-house studio operations, ensuring smooth service delivery to clients.
• Supervise and manage staff rosters, leave scheduling, and resource allocation to meet service demand.
• Provide training and support to reception and administrative staff to uphold service standards.
• Manage client appointments, walk-ins, and booking systems, ensuring efficient time management for all artists.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure appropriate stock levels of consumables and retail products.
• Maintain compliance with all workplace health, hygiene, and safety regulations specific to tattooing and body piercing.
• Handle client inquiries and complaints with professionalism and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Support the Director with marketing and promotional activities, including event participation and social media coordination.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, appointments, and supplies.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of studio policies, procedures, and improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Essential

• Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or related field OR Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a client-facing retail or service management role.
• Proven ability to manage staff and coordinate rosters.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to learn and adapt to environment.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Desirable

• First Aid Certification or relevant compliance training in infection control/health & safety.
• Previous experience working in a creative or personal services environment (e.g., salon, tattoo studio).
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory control.
• Social media and promotional campaign coordination.
• Understanding of health and hygiene practices in a tattoo/piercing setting.
• Adaptability in a dynamic and creative work environment.
