Frigtech Services Pty Ltd (ABN 67 136 449 048) is looking for a full time Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician for their thriving business. This position is located at their site in Forrestfield, WA.

Frigtech Services Pty Ltd, established in April 2009, is a Western Australian-owned company specializing in air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical services. Initially founded in 2008 as a Geraldton-based business, FrigTech has grown significantly over the years, expanding its presence across Western Australia and beyond. ​

Since its inception, FrigTech has focused on delivering specialist maintenance services and 24/7 emergency support to a diverse clientele, including sectors such as retail, industrial, mining, oil, gas, and marine. While the company also provides installation services, its core emphasis remains on service and maintenance.

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification or at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Installing air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in industrial, commercial, and domestic settings
• Assembling components and parts to construct air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Repairing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, and pumps
• Repairing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration lines used for refrigerant, liquids, and gases in the air conditioning, heating, or cooling process
• Testing operational air conditioning and refrigeration systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
• Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks, and removing gas and fluids with vacuum pumps
• Recovering and filling refrigerant in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Proven experience working with a variety of systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
