Full Time Residential Care Officer

SALARY $80,000 + SUPERANNUATION

DUTIES

• Provide care and support to individuals in group living or institutional settings, ensuring their safety, well-being and development.
• Assessing client needs, providing personal care, supporting their daily living activities, promoting social and emotional well-being.
• Monitoring and reporting, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Household management.
• Medication support ensuring correct dosage.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of plans including behaviour record-keeping for positive behaviour support plans.
• Effective utilise behaviour support strategies to maintain support for those participants who exhibit challenging behaviours.
• Personal Care including mealtime support, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, showering and safe mobility.
• Daily activities including shopping, transport and Housekeeping such as cook, laundry, cleaning, bed making and garden activities.
• Develop personal routines and lifestyles which meets their needs and promote inclusion in the community.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Diploma of Community services
• NDIS Orientation Module
• First Aid and CPR
• NDIS Screening check
• Driver’s License
