Full-Time Chef and Cook Wanted at RAJ'S CORNER HAMILTON PTY LTD!

Do you have a passion for creating delicious Indian cuisine and a desire to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment? If so, Raj's Corner is the perfect place for you!

We are seeking some talented and experienced Full-Time Chef and Cook to join our team and help us continue to provide our customers with the best Indian dining experience in Hamilton.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation.
  • Analyze recipes to meet dietary requirements.
  • Price menu items by calculating costs (food, labor, overhead).
  • Prepare a diverse range of Indian dishes for regular and special services.
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Train, lead, and manage kitchen staff.
  • Share culinary expertise for staff development.
  • Create visually appealing and exciting dishes.
  • Plan customized menus for events like weddings and parties.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to prepare a wide variety of Indian dishes.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Relevant Culinary Qualification
  • A passion for creating delicious and high-quality food.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A focus on safety, hygiene, and organization.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of $75,000-$80,000 plus superannuation.
