We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate baker to join our Lane Cove NSW team and contribute to our commitment to excellence, tradition, and innovation in organic baking. This is your opportunity to be part of a growing brand that values craftsmanship and quality.
Required skills
- Mixing, preparing, and baking bread and pastries
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods.
- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
- Baking different bread types.
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards
- Monitoring oven temperature and product appearance to determine baking times
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines for all products and working practices, including adhering to cleaning procedures, maintaining food at the correct temperatures, correct storage of goods, safe operation of equipment, and avoidance of spills, trips, and slips.
- Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance
Work experience: At least two years’ Experience in Baking
Education/Skills: Relevant Qualifications
Annual Leave: 4 weeks
Working Hours: 38 Hrs per week
