Maintenance Planner or Shutdown Coordinator

SPECIALISED SHUTDOWN SUPPORT PTY LTD is looking for a full time Maintenance Planner or Shutdown Coordinator to join their growing team.

Specialised Shutdown Support (SSS) is a Western Australian company specializing in shutdown planning, execution, and support services for the mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. Established in 2018, SSS has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and safety-focused solutions that minimize downtime and maximize productivity for major resource companies. The company is in Rivervale, WA (a suburb of Perth).

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 3 years' experience in a similar position (although 5-10 years is preferred).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (5-10 years’ experience preferred)
• Preparing preventative maintenance plans and schedules, following the organisation's maintenance goals
• Coordinating planned downtimes to minimise interference with production or service schedules
• Adjusting schedules to include emergency work
• Collaborating with procurement staff to ensure availability of necessary maintenance materials and supplies
• Ensuring compliance with existing maintenance procedures and regulations
• Strong skills in SAP,
• Medium/Advanced level Microsoft Office (Excel and Project) for planning and scheduling
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Relevant Trade Qualification and experience in fixed plant maintenance advantageous but not required
• Ability to work well with diverse teams and communicate clearly
