Automotive Electrician

Our client, Allquip Water Trucks (Allquip Pty Ltd) is a family-owned, Australian-operated company based in Rutherford, NSW. With over two decades of industry experience, they specialize in the manufacture of water trucks, tankers, and slide-in units. They are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join the team. This role involves the electrical fit-out of new water trucks, ensuring high-quality installations and integrations.

Duties will include the following tasks:

• Installation of electrical systems and components required to build a water truck or skid mounted module from the ground up.
• Integrating water truck electrical system with OEM truck electrical system
• Installing auto accessories such as beacon lights, taillights, side marker lights, arrow boards, electric water cannons, UHF radios, electric trailer brakes, etc.
• Battery & starter isolation installations on trucks
• Control boxes, switch panels and harnesses installations
• Wiring Ignition and start circuits for pump engines
• Motivated and responsible, able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to work with others is crucial.
• Broaden skill sets in a great team environment.
• Clean and safe work conditions working on new vehicles

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant trade qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Motivated and responsible, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills
