As we continue to grow and delight our customers, we are seeking a passionate Chef to join our dynamic team at Mudgeeraba and Robina

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute a diverse range of high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes aligned with the Memento food style and seasonal ingredients
  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff members, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Monitor food costs and work towards maximising profitability without compromising on quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Discuss menus, specials, and stock levels with management; contribute to seasonal menu development and promotional offerings

Qualifications:

  • Proven 2+ years of experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.Creativity and passion for culinary excellence.
