PROPIX PTY LTD trading as Jamberoo Action Park is looking for an Electrician (General) for their site located Jamberoo NSW 2533.
Jamberoo Action Park is a popular family-friendly water theme park located in Jamberoo, New South Wales, just over an hour’s drive south of Sydney. Renowned for its scenic setting and thrilling attractions, the park features a wide range of water slides, wave pools, and adventure rides including The Funnel Web and The Perfect Storm. It’s also home to calmer experiences like the Rapid River and a tranquil chairlift ride that offers panoramic views of the Illawarra escarpment. With expansive picnic areas and on-site facilities, Jamberoo is a favourite destination for school excursions, birthday parties, and summer outings, inviting visitors to "where you control the action."
This role is to support the park’s maintenance and leadership team.
To be considered for this position you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at more than 2 years experience in a similar role. A provisional licence or full licence is required.

- Test electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances, and facilities.
- Commission electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances, and facilities.
- Diagnose electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances, and facilities.
- Maintain electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances, and facilities.
- Repair electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances, and facilities.
- Service and repair lifts, escalators, and related equipment.
- Inspect and maintain ride control systems to ensure roller coasters, water slides, and amusement rides operate safely and reliably.
- Install, service, and test pump and filtration systems critical to water attractions and pools, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on lighting and power systems across the park, including high-traffic public areas, food courts, and entertainment zones.
- Respond to urgent electrical faults during operating hours, troubleshooting quickly to minimise downtime and ensure guest safety.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement upgrades, energy efficiency measures, and emergency power systems during peak seasons.
