Through our in-depth career coaching and focus on innovation we aim to create future leaders in the legal industry.Your roleAt Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.You'll be a part of our Catering team based in Brisbane. Our Corporate Catering team prepare a variety of innovative, on-trend food items to enhance the experience of our clients. Prepared in our very own on-site kitchen, our team, led by an experienced and creative Head Chef, can accommodate a number of clients events, from a formal breakfast, lunch and dinner to canapés for cocktail events and corporate seminars.This opportunity is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis, where the usual hours of work will be a rotating roster of either 7.30am – 4pm or 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. There will be times when after hours work will be required.About youYou will have experience delivering exceptional customer service in a busy and professional hospitality environment. Experience in high-end restaurants or hotels or a Corporate catering team is highly advantageous.In addition, the successful candidate will have:
  • Excellent presentation and strong communication skills;
  • Previous barista experience is essential;
  • The ability to be able to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Initiative and the ability to prioritise and multitask;
  • The ability to work well under pressure;
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification;
  • Knowledge of local and international food and wine varieties is highly desired;
  • A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others.
