Along with a minimum of 5 years civil supervision, the right person will have the following skills and qualifications:

Experienced in GPS and survey
Pipe laying, drainage and concrete experience
The ability to read drawings and complete day to day paperwork
QLD mining supervisor certificate (S123)
At a minimum have a HR licence and Excavator RII
Have the ability to pass a mine medical, D&A and site inductions

In addition to the above, to excel in this position you should demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, which encompass exceptional time management skills and effective communication, coupled with a proactive and positive attitude.You will be supervising a small crew carrying out civil works including an upgrade to the entrance of the mine site and preparation works for the construction of a camp extension, consisting of all earthworks and drainage, followed by the concrete install of footpaths and walkways etc. Experience in a similar role is essential.The roster will be 14 days on, 7 days off, working 12hr day shifts. You will be staying at a remote mining camp, meals & accomm are provided while on shift.Local Cloncurry or Mt Isa applicants are preferred, but flights are available from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville.Pay rate is $70/hr flat rate.To be considered please apply online, or for more info call the NW office in Mt Isa on 07 4749 3692.
