Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Research Assistant with an interest in Neuroscience and Drug Development to work with a dedicated team of researchers at the Dementia Research Centre.The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic Research Assistant with an interest in drug development and drug testing to contribute to research seeking to build new therapeutic agents to combat Alzheimer’s Disease.The successful applicant will provide experimental, technical and administrative support on a range of research activities including assay development, in vitro drug screening, cell culture and microscopy analysis. A highly motivated individual with a strong eye for detail and a consummate team player who has a keen interest in making a lasting impact in therapeutic development for neurodegenerative diseases is encouraged to apply.About YouYou are a motivated and meticulous individual who takes initiative when completing assigned research project tasks and exercise rational judgement and decision-making skills to troubleshoot experimental issues. Ideally, you have experience in cell culture, in vitro assays, and drug testing. In addition, you will enjoy working both independently and as part of a team and will be able and actively participate in group analysis work.
