Our client, a leading civil contractor in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in civil projects including roads, bridges, drainage, and subdivisions.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects.
Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to assess scope and risks.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for pricing input.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to value engineering initiatives.
Assist with bid submissions and tender presentations.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in civil infrastructure estimating.
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and quantities.
Proficient in estimating software
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil infrastructure estimating.
