The RoleAs an integral part of the finance team, you will report to the Finance Manager who is leading change and continuous improvement. In this newly created role, you will provide monthly reports and ad-hoc analysis to senior stakeholders, provide key analysis to aid decision making and prepare commentary.It will be important to offer a fresh perspective and to contribute to the goals of the team as well as the organisation. Your regular duties will include;Key contributor in the completion of the monthly management accountsHelp to ensure month-end procedures/reconciliations are completed.Work with the broader team and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts as required.Regular analysis of financial performance and results providing meaningful commentary to the leadership group.On a monthly basis track and review expenditure against set budgets (company and department level).Completion of the month-end close process in a timely basis, ensuring all accruals, prepayments and adjustments are processed and balance sheet reconciliations completed, undertaking a detailed review of monthly financial results.Develop strong business partnering relationships with heads of department and work with them to ensure better financial understanding and practices.Participate in efforts for continuous improvement - identify areas for process improvement and plan for projects to increase capability. Your ProfileAs a CA/CPA qualified/part-qualified accounting professional, you will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant and demonstrable experience in an accounting position. With outstanding communication skills, a strong technical skillset and a growth mindset, you will have all of the tools required to make this role your own.Demonstrated success in providing key analysis, insights and decision support will be beneficial. Experience in using Netsuite and/or Power BI is advantageous but not essential.
