This business is a manufacturing business of window coverings based in Rydalmere who are looking for Despatch people to control the warehouse operation of the despatch i.e.: stock control, inwards and outward goods, receipting, and checking of paperwork to making sure all items have been received or ready to be delivered.Your day will consist of working in dispatch to assist within the warehouse of manual handling inwards and outwards goods that consist of raw materials or finished products. This role is a Temp to Perm ongoing role, with potential for you to go onto the customers payroll after a successful 4-month probation period.Tasks & Responsibilities
RF scanning stock received or preparation to be delivered
Load and unload of deliveries to manually handle different weights of products
Handle raw materials – fabrics, components or finished products - blinds
Identify and report any quality or safety issues
Experience & Qualifications
Warehouse and Distribution background
RF Scanner experience
Stock control, cycle counts, stock takes and operate a computer
Handle raw materials or finished products i.e.: fabrics, blinds, components
Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace safety
