About the RoleThe purpose of this role is to deliver policy and projects relating to Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep service delivery. The Service Delivery team is responsible for:
Providing data analysis, including the development of data tools and products, that allow for the identificaiton of risk relating to children's access to kindergarten programs.
Frequent engagement with area and regional teams to develop responses to the above risk.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

lead development of policy, including detailed analysis of options
build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to drive the reform
produce high-quality written work, including presentations, reports, submissions and briefings

About the DepartmentThe Early Childhood Education group (ECE) plays a key role in operational policy development, service program design and commissioning to ensure a child and family centred outcomes focused integrated system. ECE oversees and works with partners to support the funded kindergarten sector, regulates early childhood education and care services and implements relevant legislative reforms to create a comprehensive, integrated and equitable system.ECE has lead responsibility for the educational components of the Early Childhood Reform Plan and the transition to Pre-Prep, expansion of the Three-Year-Old Kindergarten program, and Free Kinder.
