Are you passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for children?St Clare’s Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Coordinator to join our team!Help shape a safe, engaging, and fun space where children can thrive — and be part of a team that makes a difference every day.At St Clare’s OSHC, we offer a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children before and after school, as well as during school holidays up to 114 children.If you have experience in childcare and leadership and are eager to make a difference in the lives of children and their families, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Assist the Centre Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:

Program planning, delivery, and documentation
Staff supervision
Administration and financial management tasks
Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
Participate in professional and personal development
Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Centre Manager.
Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services

Job Requirements:

An ACECQA-approved school-age qualification, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts.
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
Experience in the education and care of children.
Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
