- Review and interpret design drawings and documentation to develop detailed time, cost, resource estimates for each package.
- Engage with the construction team and client stakeholders to develop best practice construction execution methodologies.
- Develop detailed construction work packs.
- Monitor, report and forecast project costs against approved budgets.
- Develop and manage procurement subcontract packages that support project delivery.
- Provide a focal point for all technical based queries during project execution.
- Support the development, implementation, and compliance of quality documentation such as Inspection and Test Plans and Material Certifications.
- Provide assistance and guidance to Stakeholders; Project and Operations Management on technical legislative compliance and other issues.
- Mechanical Engineering tertiary qualification & a minimum of 5 years relevant site-based experience
- Significant project engineering experience delivering packages in the resource sector, oil & gas and/or petrochemical industries.
- Experience in monitoring, reporting and forecasting costs.
- Detailed knowledge of Australian & International codes and standards, good engineering practice and the applicable statutory requirements with respect to fuel tanks & piping works.
