
Site Supervisor | Engineer

- 2 month casual contract with possible extension.
- Commencing early August
- Onsite co-ordination and supervision of the construction and commissioning works on assigned site with the principal aim of delivery in accordance with the contract documentation, on time and with zero harm.
- Overseeing the activities of the subcontractor to ensure delivery of the site works:
- With zero harm to people and the environment,
- efficiently within the contract timeframe, and
- to the required quality standards;
- Ensuring that best safety management practices are maintained on site and all required safety related documentation is in place at all times;
- Building and sustaining positive working relationships with all project stakeholders, including the client, the local community, the subcontractors and supplier organisations;
- Reviewing the detailed design documentation as required;
- Ensuring the conditions of all environmental approvals for the project are complied with throughout the contract works;
- Supervising the subcontractors works and monitor progress;
- Ensuring that all site related matters are administered in accordance with the relevant contract conditions;
- Providing considered advice and recommendations to the Project Manager on issues arising from and impacting upon the site works, including the identification and mitigation of project risks;

- Installation of 40ft container, Clarifier, pumps, 4x 50KL water tanks and all connecting pipework
- Install, terminating and testing all cables to all electrical equipment as specified (no high voltage)
- Proven experience at site supervisor level on small to medium complex industrial projects with an emphasis on civil and piping works;
- Proven experience working with accredited safety, environmental and quality systems;
- Proven experience in successful contract administration.

- Good written and oral presentation skills;
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Experience in the water infrastructure sector (preferred).
- Extensive civil and or piping supervision experience .
- Project management / project administration qualifications (preferred).
