Our team is very well known for water infrastructure and water resources engineering and science consulting, collaborating with industry leaders like Water Authorities, major mining firms, and Defence, among others.Join us to become part of a community of innovative thinkers, uniting top talent in the field to shape a positive future of water for our communities and next generations.This diverse role will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the planning and execution of mechanical engineering projects for water utilities, local government, and resources industry clients. You will be technically skilled in water/wastewater treatment projects and will exercise sound judgement and initiative while undertaking your project responsibilities.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Leading the technical design development of mechanical aspects of systems and equipment for projects as a senior member of the water engineering team
Development of detailed project plans outlining scope, timeline, budget, and resource requirements
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns, and provide technical expertise.
Oversee the day-to-day execution of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Communicate project updates, technical milestones, and ensure client satisfaction.

What would you bring to the team?

Experience as a Project Engineer with a focus on design and specification of mechanical equipment for water and wastewater treatment across municipal and industrial applications, experience in construction, commissioning or operation of treatment plants.
The role will typically involve being responsible for several concurrent tasks, proposals or projects and therefore ability to manage competing priorities in a professional and proactive manner is highly desirable.
Proven ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively both across our business and externally.
Strong writing and communication skills to produce high quality reports, proposals and to liaise with clients.
A strong focus on successful delivery and client service as well as a passion for knowledge sharing and development of junior team members.
