- Responsible for effectively managing P&L and food costs
- Responsible for effectively managing kitchen operations/logistics including stock control
- Understand and manage client expectations
- Supervision of Chefs in relation to day-to-day operations
- Ensure compliance with Healthy, Safety and Environment requirements
- All flights to and from Brisbane
- Accommodation, meals and uniforms provided whilst on site

- Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Experience as a Head Chef (essential)
- High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience
- Experience in a mining village operation preferred but all professional kitchen experience considered
- Willing to obtain or have a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Surface Mining Induction
- Previous experience working in a remote setting desired
- Strong leadership skills, self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and management
