Founded in Sydney in 2012, we are an Australian-owned manufacturer with a strong focus on research and a relentless pursuit of new product development – all Safe Direction® products are crash tested to ensure compliance with local and international standards.About the Role:The Manufacturing Operator will support the manufacturing team by performing various manufacturing activities, specifically general metal fabrication and assembly.The position is full-time with working hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.Key responsibilities include:

Perform general metal fabrication tasks such as drilling, grinding and cutting.
Assembly of metal components into kits
Provide support to roll forming, press and curving operations as required
Material handling by counterbalance forklift as required with - LF forklift licence
Potential to undertake MIG welding/scope to learn.

Requirements

1 + years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical skills
Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance principles
Forklift License is advantageous!
A great attitude towards safety and quality
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
