The successful Legal Counsel will be a valued member of the General Counsel (Office of the CEO) team. You will be key in supporting the organisation with provision of legal advice and practical support across a wide range of legal areas such as:
  • Health, commercial, contract and property law
  • Privacy and release of information
  • Medico-legal issues
  • Litigation claims and complaints advice and management
We are actively seeking candidates who are interested or have experience in healthcare law or commercial law and who have excellent verbal and written skills to communicate legal issues and recommended actions in plain English.Qualifications and experience required:
  • Bachelor or Law or equivalent tertiary qualification from a recognised university.
  • Admitted to practice law as an Australian lawyer, with a current practicing certificate permitting the holder to practice as a legal practitioner in Victoria or NSW
