- Deliver high quality alcohol and other drug treatment in accordance with relevant Government Legislation and Regulations, Primary Health Care Principles, Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) policies, procedures and protocols and relevant professional competencies.
- Provide a specialist assessment and treatment service for people with multiple and complex needs, including comorbid alcohol and other drug and mental health issues, and their families in accordance with discipline specific skills and abilities.
- Act as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with alcohol and other drug needs and promotes community awareness in relation to alcohol and other drugs.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme

- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia and Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia; or
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is a full member of AASW or is eligible for membership with the AASW
- Holds, or is working towards, a relevant tertiary qualification in the Alcohol and Other Drugs field Current
