Their modern workshop is located in Kilmore, VIC — a vibrant regional town with excellent schools and a close-knit community.About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this role is to carry out high-quality servicing and repairs across a broad range of heavy vehicles and equipment, both in the workshop and in the field.Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Attending to on-site maintenance as needed
Maintaining accurate job cards and timesheets
Upholding high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
Providing leadership and support to apprentices and junior team members
Performing mechanical repairs on trucks, 4WDs, mobile plant or earthmoving equipment
About YouThe successful candidate will have:
At least 5 years’ experience in diesel mechanics
A hands-on approach and strong pride in workmanship
Strong problem solving skills as well as excellent self motivation
Upholding high standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
A team-focused mindset and readiness to support a growing, motivated workshop
