The position is ideal for candidates with fellowship in General and Acute Care Medicine. However, consideration will also be given to applicants with a strong background in General Medicine who hold fellowship in a different specialty.

- Salary package up to $380,000
- Provision of consultant ward service to a General Medical Unit
- Supervision, teaching and support of junior medical officers (Advanced Trainee, Basic Physician Trainee, Resident Medical Officer, Interns, medical students).
- Attendance at regular Departmental Meetings (GACM Consultant Meeting, Mortality & Morbidity, Journal Club, Radiology Meeting).
The Hospital has 360 beds, servicing a population of over 140,000 it is a diverse population including urban, regional, and remote centres, it is a teaching hospital and is co-located with the Private Hospital.
