You will be working at a well-known mental health service that is based across two sites. A large metropolitan hospital and a busy, tertiary teaching hospital with state-of-the-art facilities. The tertiary hospital is surrounded by leading health research and education facilities.The Mental Health Services are dynamic and include home treatment and intensive community treatment programs, eating disorder services, perinatal mental health services with a mother and baby inpatient, and an addiction, prevention and treatment service supplemented by Australia's first gaming disorder clinic.The Job
- As a Consultant Psychiatrist, opportunities exist to provide a range of community, inpatient, CL and emergency department mental health services, providing care for adults, youth, older adults and pregnant and postpartum women.
- You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills, providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
- Participation in audit, quality improvement and research activities is encouraged.
- You will be required to participate in the shared on-call roster
- Excellent remuneration package up to $456,008 p.a
