
Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy)

- Be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for renewable facilities including wind, solar and battery storage facilities, amongst other emerging technologies.
- Use your project management experience to oversee projects whilst reviewing and signing off on concept designs for power generation facilities on projects across Victoria.
- Act as technical leaders for the development of specifications whilst working with Senior Leadership Team with key clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a part of Owner's Engineer team on projects to ensure the project is delivered according to the clients' requirements. Provide technical advice and use your project management experience to advise on project timelines, schedule, budget, contractor management and risk management.
- Ideally, candidates will have 3 + years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the renewable energy sector, either owner/client side, or working for a consultancy (preferred) with a track record of project management experience.
- Electrical Engineering degree with relevant experience, knowledge of Australian standards and projects. RPEV (or ability to obtain) is important given the nature of this role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Proven knowledge of the major power generation technologies and the major equipment OEM's and plant suppliers.
- Ideally, candidates will have exposure to HOMER and PVsyst. Experience with windPRO is advantageous, but not essential.
