- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual behaviours and support needs.
- Develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans in line with best practices and NDIS guidelines.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support strategies.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff and caregivers to promote positive behaviour strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with organisational and legislative requirements.
- Stay current with best practices, legislation, and research in the field of behaviour support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in behaviour support.
- Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles and NDIS regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Geelong area.
