We are seeking a Registered Nurse (Nurse Grade 5) to join the team at Biloela Hospital. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care across emergency and rural settings, including resuscitation, triage, and acute patient management. The role is within a 24/7 service and requires flexibility across all shifts.Requirements
- Nursing Level: RN (Nurse Grade 5)
- Advanced Life Support (mandatory)
- Triage and resuscitation skills
- IV Cannulation competency
- Emergency and rural nursing experience
- Nurse on Call: Yes
- Criminal History Check: General
- Must agree to an 8-hour shift break

- Biloela Hospital is a small rural facility providing acute, emergency, and community health services.
- Service operates 24/7 across all shifts.
- Shared accommodation provided (on-site not always guaranteed).
- Travel expenses: $200 incl. GST each way for commencement and completion of contract (with tax receipts).
- Travel must occur within 2 days of the start and end dates. Outside this timeframe requires prior written approval.
- All travel expenses must be pre-approved by CQHHS.
- Accommodation: Shared accommodation provided (subject to availability).
- Timesheets: CQHHS does not use electronic timesheets.
