Employing more than 2000 people Australia-wide, G'day Group has the largest park network in the country, offering an amazing customer journey.Discovery Parks, Cloncurry offers accommodation and dining for large numbers of work force guests with some van sites available for tourists exploring this unique regional area.The RoleWe are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills, customer-centric and a hands-on approach.This role manages three sites, two of which are mining leases.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Leadership of a diverse park teams to provide an exceptional guest experience
  • Financial management - reporting, delivering and implementing budgets
  • Maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Asset management
  • Foster and maintain a strong rapport with staff and managers at all levels.
  • Maintain the core of the business - ensuring operations run smoothly across all 3 sites
  • Team training and development
  • Proactively planning and implementing sales and marketing activities in line with customer needs
  • Attending to after-hours call outs
You are required to live on site in Cloncurry - all inclusive accommodation and utilities are providedSkills & Experience
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in hospitality/accommodation multi site management
  • Experienced in large scale food & beverage operations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in managing, developing and training staff
  • Strong computer skills with experience with RMS or similar reservations systems
  • Strong financial acumen (budgets, planning, food COGs and reporting)
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in client relations and management
  • Strong understanding of policy and procedure compliance
  • Demonstrated experience managing and building multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety is highly regarded
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Driving license is essential
