SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney's central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. We also provide a key role in helping residents of Lord Howe Island. Our staff also deliver high quality health care across a variety of community-based services ranging from pre-birth to palliative care.About the role
As the Head of the Office of the Chief Executive, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, supporting the Chief Executive and broader executive team to deliver key organisational priorities. You will ensure seamless collaboration across departments and oversee the efficient operation of critical support functions including Legal, Executive Services, and Media and Communications.What you'll be doing
- Lead and coordinate key priorities on behalf of the Chief Executive
- Facilitate collaboration between Executive, Directorate, Site, and Service teams
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office within allocated resources
- Oversee delivery of high-quality support services including Legal, Executive Services, and Media and Communications
- Support the Chief Executive in managing sensitive and complex issues, preparing advice and correspondence to enable informed decision-making
- Up to 12 allocated days off each year (for full-time employees) in addition to annual leave.
