About the RoleThe JBS Northern Ops Shipping & Docs team is currently recruiting a details focused Shipping Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity. Based at our Northern Ops head office in Riverview (Ipswich) and working alongside a team of ten (10) experienced Shipping professionals, this role will provide you with the opportunity to establish yourself in a busy but supportive export shipping environment within a global organisation.Your key responsibilities will include:

Plan and execute export from production, order fulfilment, booking and loadout for specific market
Review inventory and production levels to allow timely processing of shipping orders, allocations and instructions
Maintain export orders accurately in ERP, ensuring all details are correct for timely fulfillment
Work with external suppliers - Container Shipping Lines, Carriers and Internal teams - Sales, Production, Documentation team and multiple loadout sites
Ensure compliance with International Trade regulations and Customer requirements
Provide high-quality support to internal and external customers as required

About You

Previous experience in an export documentation or shipping logistics role highly regarded
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills along with the ability to multi task
Demonstrated administrative, logistics and data entry skills
Intermediate MS Office skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a tight knit team
Ability to use initiative
Ability to maintain confidentiality
