- AQF Certificate III OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications for chef position.
- Preparation, creation, decoration and delivery of cakes, patisserie and pastry products
- Plan, develop and estimate food costs when ordering food supplies
- Monitor quality of dishes
- Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
- Prepare and cook food demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques
- Experience working with pastry's and other dessert cooking
- Keep kitchen and enforce hygiene regulations
- Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine
- Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP
- Monitor and produce quality dishes in all stages of preparation and organisation
