The RoleBecome part of a leading Queensland Government Department on an initial six-month contract, with potential for extension. In the role of Senior Supervisor (Construction Delivery), your responsibilities will include:

Assist the Construction Manager deliver current commercial/residential construction projects
Plan and deliver projects, supervising staff and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with WHS practices.
Provide high quality estimation services, prepare tenders, quotations, and construction documentation.
Coordinate building inspections, including asbestos sampling and safety management.
Participate in WHS audits and on-site safety inspections, ensuring proper safety documentation and promoting a safe work environment in collaboration with WHS teams.

YouThe ideal candidate will have:

Experience with Microsoft Project or similar
Construction industry related trade and/or qualification is highly desirable
Experience in maintenance and minor works projects
General Supervisory Skills with experience in dealing with commercial/residential construction projects
Knowledge of WH&S and compliance activities
Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
Current Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) General Safety Induction Card
A current driver's licence - as there may be overnight travel required with this role
