Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will work as an integral member of the team driving revenue growth and profitability across all assigned accounts new and existing. In this role you will use your effective territory leadership skills to implement sales strategies through development of new business and maintaining existing business while improving market presence of our product portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present sales proposals, tenders, product demonstrations and in-servicing to potential and existing customers as required. Follow a sales call plan.Negotiate price within defined schedules and guidelines as requiredAttend corporate events as required including meetings and conferencesResolve customer complaints as soon as possible and liaise with Management, Customer Service and Field Service to ensure customer satisfaction for every orderSupport and participate in sales promotions and marketing activities as requiredTrain appropriate hospital staff and company employees on new products. In consultation with the product manager to ensure customers and prospective customers are technically proficient through in-service presentations, one-on-one training, peer education and supply of information.Actively participate in the clinical environment by providing technical consultation as requiredPractice excellent territory management in terms of salesforce, organisation, administration & expense planning and control.Ensure the CRM is kept updated to ensure effective reportingEnsure a safe working environment in accordance with the relevant Work Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation.Key Requirements of the role include:Tertiary degree in Medical Science, Healthcare, Business, Management or related fields3-5 years’ experience working in a commercial/sales role within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry is desirableKnowledge and application of effective selling skills, including value added selling techniques and Key Account Management is preferredSolid understanding or the Hospital and Healthcare systemHighly developed interpersonal effectiveness and relationship-building abilitiesAccountable for achieving targets and delivering outstanding customer serviceCollaborative approach and ability to work well with othersWillingness to travel interstate as required.Why Baxter?At Baxter ANZ, we are passionate about being a Best Place to Work where our people can be their authentic self, feel valued and respected.
