💼 Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of ICT to lead and manage the strategic direction, operations, and continuous improvement of all ICT and AV systems. This role will play a key part in enhancing the organisation’s digital capability, supporting both academic and administrative needs.
You’ll lead a high-performing team of 7, drive innovation across core platforms like Synergetic (back end) and Schoolbox (front end), and shape technology solutions that improve the experience for staff and students.
💰 Salary & Benefits
- 💵 $150K base + super
- 📍 Location: Mulgrave
- 🚗 Car parking on-site
- 🕐 Full-time, 5 days on-site (flexibility considered after settling in)
- 1x Database Manager
- 1x Systems Manager
- 2x Help Desk/Desktop Support
- 1x Year 13 student – entry-level support
- 1x Data Manager (new in 2024)
- 1x Systems Developer / Innovator (third-party or internal)
- Lead the ICT/AV strategy, operations, and team performance
- Oversee systems infrastructure, service delivery, and project execution
- Enhance user experience through system development and innovation
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with data and security policies
- ICT qualifications + 5+ years in senior ICT leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and strategic planning skills
- Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., Synergetic, Schoolbox)
- Background in education or not-for-profit (desirable)
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and project delivery capabilities
- Current incumbent departs: August 8
- Interview Process:
- 1st Round: Panel interview (Principal, Director of Business Services + external IT specialist) – 8–10 questions, ~1 hour
- 2nd Round: Presentation-style interview
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and pass a National Police Check
