We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join our State Government Client and play a pivotal role in supporting the operational and financial performance of a high value asset portfolio.About the Role:As a Senior Management Accountant, you will:

Lead and coordinate financial planning, budget cycles, and forecasting.
Provide expert financial advice and analysis to senior stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement strategies to enhance cost recovery and revenue generation.
Mentor and uplift financial literacy across the branch.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, government policies, and WH&S legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate and timely financial services and reports.
Develop and implement financial frameworks and monitoring processes.
Conduct high-level research and analysis on complex financial issues.
Support business case development and strategic planning.
Partner with managers to improve financial decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
Proven experience in financial management within a complex organisation.
Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and financial systems (e.g., SAMIS, Basware, Oracle).
