  • Competitive salary commencing at $35.41 per hour plus 12% superannuation
The OpportunityWorking collaboratively within our team of Early Childhood Educators, this position will see you implementing high-quality, innovative play-based programs to meet the individual and group interests, strengths and needs of children. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Working according to the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks.
  • Developing and maintaining positive reciprocal relationships with and between children, families and educators.
  • Initiating and promoting warm and intentional interactions with children as a key learning strategy.
  • In collaboration with team members, documenting children's learning both individually and as part of a group.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of curriculums within the learning program.
About You
  • You will hold a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent, as recognised by the Department of Education and Training and in accordance with the Education and Care National Law Act 2010 & the Education and Care National Services Regulations 2011;
  • You have a great understanding of Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks
  • The ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Ability to self-manage work requirements in liaison with room team and supervisor; and,
  • Hold a current and valid, or willingness to obtain: Working With Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management certificates.
