Competitive salary commencing at $35.41 per hour plus 12% superannuation
The OpportunityWorking collaboratively within our team of Early Childhood Educators, this position will see you implementing high-quality, innovative play-based programs to meet the individual and group interests, strengths and needs of children. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Working according to the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks.
Developing and maintaining positive reciprocal relationships with and between children, families and educators.
Initiating and promoting warm and intentional interactions with children as a key learning strategy.
In collaboration with team members, documenting children's learning both individually and as part of a group.
Contributing to the development and delivery of curriculums within the learning program.
About You
You will hold a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent, as recognised by the Department of Education and Training and in accordance with the Education and Care National Law Act 2010 & the Education and Care National Services Regulations 2011;
You have a great understanding of Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks
The ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families and colleagues
Ability to self-manage work requirements in liaison with room team and supervisor; and,
Hold a current and valid, or willingness to obtain: Working With Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management certificates.
