- Salary - $109,949 plus shift and penalty rates apply plus 12.75% Superannuation
- 6-week rotating roster of 12-hour shifts

- The network consists of an exciting and broad range of telecommunications technologies.
Reporting to the Coordinator Telecommunications Operational Centres and working in a team of six, you will ensure reliability of the Telecommunications network by monitoring, maintenance, and fault coordination of Queensland Rails statewide Optic Fibre and Telecommunications network.Importantly you will also co-ordinate the rectification of service outages and report on the performance of the network.A period of on the job learning and mentoring will be developed for the successful applicant with a view to getting into the active shift roster at the earliest opportunity.To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have the following:
- Knowledge of telecommunications networks and how they apply to rail operations
- Great communication skills and self-motivated
- Proactive approach to investigating faults
- Hold the following preemployment qualifications ACMA Open Cabler Registration, Trade Certificate in Telecommunications and Class C Drivers licence.
