More information about our benefits can be viewed here:About the role and teamWe have an opportunity for a full-time Service Clerk to join our Melbourne office. Working alongside a great team of Service Clerks, this role provides a high level of customer service and support to partners and employees within the firm.This is a great entry level role for someone looking for a career in a law firm.Key responsibilities
  • open, sort and distribute incoming mail;
  • coordinate and process all outgoing mail;
  • photocopying and scanning;
  • binding of documents and briefs;
  • attend to court filing;
  • booking couriers;
  • daily banking;
  • delivery of legal documents to Chambers, the Courts and clients;
  • cleaning of kitchens; and
  • backup to reception, switchboard and catering.
Skills and experienceWe are keen to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience:
  • qualification in either a business or legal administration course;
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • team player with flexible approach;
  • reliable with a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach;
  • ability to work under pressure during peak times; and
  • strong IT skills.
