- Providing timely and strong Employee Relations support across stores, head office, and distribution centres.
- Building strong relationships with leaders and employees to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Offering advisory support on workplace matters, including case management, performance concerns, and employee grievances.
- Coaching leaders on best-practice responses, workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and fair decision-making.
- Leading Advisors as required, acting as a point of escalation.
- Drafting formal communications that uphold integrity and compliance in employment relations.
- Navigating employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies to ensure workplace compliance.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to improve Employee Relations practices and workplace culture.
- Supporting initiatives that enhance workplace fairness, employee engagement, and conflict resolution processes.
- Occasional local or interstate travel may be required to provide direct support and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- A bachelor degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, including end to end case management and workplace dispute resolution.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to fostering fair and compliant employment practices.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, workplace agreements, and industrial relations frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ensuring timely management of employee concerns.
- The confidence to guide leaders through complex Employee Relations matters, influencing compliant, fair and informed decisions that mitigate risk and account for commercial impact.
- Tech-savvy with strong digital literacy.
- Experience in retail, pharmaceutical, or service-based industries (ideal but not essential).
