Based in Parkes, you will walk alongside individuals and families across the Cabonne, Forbes, Parkes and Lachlan local government areas, helping them navigate their recovery journey and find renewed hope for the future.We’re looking for a passionate and compassionate Caseworker to join our Recovery Support Services team. This role is more than a job – it’s about being there when people need it most, providing trauma-informed, person-centred support, and helping communities find strength in the face of challenge.What you’ll be doing:
Support flood-affected individuals and families through short-term, flexible, and trauma-informed case work.
Provide triage, assessment, referrals, and community connections to ensure people get the right support at the right time.
Work directly in the community – whether in homes, community hubs, or recovery centres – meeting people where they are.
Collaborate with local services and stakeholders to help strengthen recovery pathways.
Contribute your insights and lived experiences to help shape and improve this important new service.
Your Qualifications & Experience
A Diploma in Community Services (or related qualification).
2+ years’ experience working with vulnerable or trauma-affected populations.
Strong understanding of child protection and culturally responsive practice.
Skills in outreach and case coordination.
A current NSW Driver’s Licence and NSW Working with Children Check.
