Access theAbout the roleTemporary part time opportunity to provide Specialist Palliative Medicine medical services to inpatients and outpatients at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and Metro North Health Service (MNHHS) through Internal Medicine Services. This position provides a consultation-liaison service for all clinical inpatient units, ambulatory clinics as requested and dedicated specialist outpatient clinics at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and throughout the Metro North health district.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
  • The appointee will be required to provide clinical services to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and will provide Palliative Medicine/Supportive Care services to the RBWH and Metro North.
  • Provide specialist clinical services by consultation/liaison to inpatients.
  • Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of students of the University of Queensland.
  • Initiate, supervise and foster clinical research activities within the hospital and in Metro North.
