As a Specialist Solution Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to MuleSoft’s prospective customers and account teams by proving how MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform can bring their digital investments to life, and allowing for faster change and innovation. You will partner closely with the sales account teams in three key areas including Solutioning, Product expertise and Innovation.What you’ll achieve:
3 months:Become certified in MuleSoft’s Developer trainingsComplete MuleSoft’s Immersion trainingBegin to build your Mulesoft Advantage and white-boarding skills through shadowing and customer-scenario role playingEngage with AEs and Sales Teams. Shadow customer calls and engagements.12 months:Become certified in all Product, Architecture, and Sales Messaging trainingsSuccessfully deliver your Self Service asset by end of second quarterDeliver product presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to the client’s technical requirements and audienceDevelop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as part of an account team to demonstrate the art of the possibleSupport marketing with evangelism activities (writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, speaking at industry events, etc.)What you’ll need to be successful:Hands on experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, Automation solutions, cloud infrastructure, etc.Hands on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, security protocols, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM etc. is preferredHands on Development experience in a range of languagesAbility to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in alignment with the sales strategyExperience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs is preferredA passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customersSolid verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skillsSalesforce and/or MuleSoft Certifications highly desiredDegree in IT/Business or equivalent relevant experience preferredAbility to travel as needed"At Salesforce we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
