These hands-on roles involve mechanical fitting, machining, and (for senior roles) supervisory duties, with a strong focus on marine propulsion and drivetrain systems.We are currently recruiting for:

Senior Mechanical Fitter: Full-time permanent position

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:00pm (38 hour week)
Additional Hours: Frequent weekday overtime + Saturday half-daysPlease note: Sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants MUST have full Australian working rights.Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical, fitting, and machining tasks across marine and industrial projects.
Overhaul drivetrain components including removal, installation, bearings, and seals.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to a clean and safe standard.
Support or undertake supervisory tasks, depending on experience level.
Plan and coordinate works to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
Ensure accurate cost coding and timely submission of daily timesheets.
Adhere to all site safety and quality management systems.

Our Ideal Candidate:

10–15+ years' experience in mechanical fitting, ideally marine or industrial
Strong knowledge of propulsion systems, shafts, seals, and pipework
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and oversee work on-site
High attention to detail, excellent planning and communication skills
